| Our Responsibility |
In many countries animals have no lobby. They often live in terrible conditions, are being
abused, and we think they have a right to a better future. Before the animals
are flown out of Malta,
they will have received professional veterinary treatment and the necessary
vaccinations. We take great care that only animals, for which homes can easily
be found in Germany, and
which are no competition to animals in German animal homes, are brought to Germany.
That so many animals from abroad can be rehomed relatively easily in Germany
is due to the fact that they, in general, get on very well with other dogs (and
often cats, too!) and are very sociable.
In Germany we work exclusively with
foster homes; thus our animals live in private homes and families. In the foster homes the animals live in close
contact with people and therefore we get to know them very well, and are thus
in a position to find the right home for them.

| Donations
and Membership |
In Germany,
the charity collects donations in the form of food, gifts in kind and money for
animal welfare in Germany
and on Malta.
Since all available funds are
directly spent on animal welfare, we are relying on donations and/or membership
fees.
Animalta e.v. is a registered charity and has been approved by the inland
revenue office in Lahr – Tax-No. 10050/52066 - as non-profit
making, and especially worthy of support.
